Our History: A 35-Year Journey
Top Drawer was born in 1990 in a humble residential garage in Port Orange. Built on the belief that local homeowners deserved better than “one-size-fits-all” wire shelving, the company quickly outgrew its beginnings. After relocating to a warehouse on Railroad Street, the founders eventually built a dedicated 3,500-square-foot showroom and warehouse on South Ridgewood Avenue.
In August 2010, Ashley’s parents, Brad and Fran, purchased Top Drawer. Under their leadership, the company became a household name across Volusia and Flagler Counties. Brad led the design and general direction of the business, while Fran served as the friendly face of the office, managing the financials and logistics that kept the company running smoothly. Together, they earned a reputation for award-winning service that resulted in decades of “Best Around” honors.
The Next Generation & Expansion
On January 1st, 2025, the legacy continued as Ashley and Scott officially stepped into ownership. For Scott, this was a true homecoming; he began his career at Top Drawer over 20 years ago, building and installing units for the original owners.
Much like Brad and Fran before them, Scott and Ashley lead the company as a balanced team. Scott brings a craftsman’s eye to every 3D design and installation, while Ashley utilizes her extensive professional background in accounting to ensure every project is managed with precision and care. Under this new chapter of ownership, Top Drawer is proud to have officially expanded our award-winning services into St. Johns County, bringing our signature storage solutions to even more Florida homeowners.
Manufacturing With Integrity
We aren’t just installers; we are true manufacturers. From our 6,000-square-foot facility on Fentress Blvd in Daytona Beach, we’ve invested in state-of-the-art CNC technology to create our cabinet and unit pieces entirely in-house. This allows us to:

- Expand Design: We offer more custom options than traditional “out-of-the-box” systems.
